Oakville Restorative Functional Yoga

Sacred Practice

Your body is sacred ground. Not a project, not a problem, not something to be earned back sacred already, as it is.

Oakville Restorative Functional Yoga is an integrated, holistic practice that brings people together to remember their own holiness and to build the strength to live from it. We don't come to be repaired. We come home to ourselves. It is open to everyone: all bodies, every background, every story, every age past fifty.

Led by meditation and yoga teacher Coach Che Marville, each session weaves restorative practice, breath, gentle functional strength, dance, laughter, and meditation into one weekly ritual.

What Each Session Hold

  • Breath — we begin in stillness, settling the body and the mind.

  • Gentle yoga & mobility — a flow to free the spine, hips, and shoulders.

  • Functional strength — the strength that matters most after fifty.

  • Dance & laughter — rhythm, joy, and lightness in the room.

  • Restorative rest & meditation — supported deep rest to close, leaving you settled and whole.

The Gifts of the Practice

  • Calms the nervous system, eases stress, and improves sleep.

  • Builds the strength that protects muscle, bone, and balance — keeping you independent and steady on your feet

  • Lifts the heart and frees the body through movement and dance

  • Opens the breath and lifts the spirit through laughter

  • Offers real belonging — a small, consistent circle, week after week

Founding Teacher: Coach Che Marville

Che Marville is a meditation and yoga teacher, breathwork practitioner, and the founder of Oakville Restorative Yoga School. An E-RYT 500 with more than thirty years of practice, she teaches the conviction at the centre of her work: the body is sacred ground, and every person has the right to know their own holiness.

Her teaching is integrated and whole restorative movement, breath, stillness, dance, and strength woven into one practice for the whole person, body and spirit together. She does not teach repair; she teaches remembrance: that you are already sacred, already enough, and strong enough to live from that truth.

Che is the author of Rebirth Through Wellness, the creator of The Rebirth Method, and the host of the midlife podcast Let's Talk with Che Marville.
